Aruba Culture

The culture of Aruba is a blend of the many different kinds of people that have chosen to make this island their home. Some celebrations are based on old tradition including religious practices and others are more modern. Celebrations in Aruba include King’s Day in April honoring the birth of King Willem- Alexander of Netherland, Dera Gay- with bright costumes and dances celebrating a successful harvest, and the carnival season which starts in November and ends a month later.
